IFA USA Implements Teamware Pl@za
The International Fiscal Association US branch implements Teamware Pl@za® for its new website and online community management system. Teamware provides Teamware Pl@za as an ASP service.
The International Fiscal Association (IFA) was founded in 1938 as a leading non-governmental, international organization dealing with tax matters. IFA's 10,000 members include corporate tax professionals, advisers, university professors, and government officials. IFA USA is the largest IFA branch, with approximately 1,200 members.
IFA USA's new website includes online membership application and membership renewals with online payment options. Member profiles, applications, renewals and payments are integrated with the association's membership management system. In addition, members are offered an online membership directory and research library which includes memos, articles, notes and conference materials related to international tax matters, and to which members can submit new material. Events, discussions and surveys are designed to engage members in interaction and networking.
Online communities and workspaces are provided for committees, industry groups, regional vice presidents and task forces to enable their association work virtually. In addition, IFA USA invites selected other IFA national branches to online communities for international discussions, sharing and collaboration.
