iDEA Beta Tests Teamware Pl@za for Associations 5

The Independent Dealers of Entertainment Association upgrades to Teamware Pl@za^® for Associations 5 to provide Teamware valuable feedback and testing of its new website and online community management system. Teamware provides Teamware Pl@za as an ASP service.

The Independent Dealers of Entertainment Association's (iDEA) mission is to empower the independent sector of the home video industry to grow their businesses through networking, communication, education, and business tools. iDEA LiNk, the association's website is designed as an industry portal to include popular discussion boards, VideoRetailer.com purchasing tools, industry and association news, business and research reports, event listings, online meeting capabilities, and many other tools and services to assist its members be more efficient and profitable.

iDEA (formerly part of Video Software Dealers Association) has been using Teamware Pl@za since 2000 for managing its website and online communities. The website won an award in 2002 from the Web Marketing Association. By upgrading to Teamware Pl@za for Associations 5 iDEA updated the website to a modern Web 2.0 -based service, redesigned its look-and-feel, implemented online membership application and member renewals with online payment options, as well as began using industry expert and member blogs.
