Responsive Design

Pl@za supports the newest HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design technologies and techniques. There is no need to implement a separate mobile version of the website as the site, content and its presentation scales and adapts automatically for use with tablets, smartphones, mobile, PDA and other devices.

Site access by mobile devices and their browser is automatically detected. Pl@za converts site presentation to various widths so that it looks good on every device. In addition to site width, system can automatically determine scaling, moving and skipping of images, converting navigation to mobile-friendly menus, as well as rearranging the presentation order of content and elements.

 

Default site width can be set at 800px, 900px, 1000px, or as 90% relative browser width, for example. Sub- and additional sites may also have differing width implementations as needed. However, site responsiveness to various device widths is defined gradually, such as 960px (tablet width) and 640px (phone width), or by using additional steps depending on site requirements.
